This is a dark, atmospheric, gritty, fantasy campaign set in a frozen northern frontier where survival is never guaranteed and every solution carries a cost.

The world is harsh, physically and morally, but grounded. Towns cling to life through fragile alliances, imperfect leaders, and choices that prioritise endurance over ideals. Monsters exist — but they are rarely the most dangerous thing in the room. Scarcity, fear, and power are the real forces shaping the land.

Players take on the roles of driven characters drawn into a region under immense pressure. You will be trusted with responsibility early, asked to make decisions that matter, and given the space to explore how your character changes in response to the world around them.

This campaign focuses on slow-burn tension, meaningful consequences, and player-driven story arcs rather than constant combat or railroading. Your choices will shape communities, factions, and the future of the north — sometimes in ways that only become clear much later.

Game Expectations

This will be a story focused campaign with loads of choices. Some easy, some hard, some that you won't know until it's too late. There will be chances for inter party conflict. Conflict does not mean violence. It has a cosmic/god story with the real focus being on the people who live and struggle in the inhospitable north.

If you love roleplay, big choices, player agency, a vibrant and changing world. This will be for you!

My expectations are that the party will be involved with the story, will handle conflict and difficult choices in a mature way. Players who enjoy the grey bits of morality.
