My journey started a lot more recent than most. I started watching Critical Role back in June 2019, and after the second episode of the first campaign, I just had to start playing myself. But of course, nobody I knew in my area was playing. So I stepped up and became the DM, and I somehow stumbled upon the passion I'd been searching for my entire adult life without realizing it. Being a DM has introduced me to so many new people and experiences, both positive and negative, but beneficial regardless, and I wouldn't trade any of it for the world.
